This policy covers personal information TruGlide Doors, LLC collects through truglidedoors.com and through the phone calls, texts, and emails that follow from a form you submit here. It does not cover information you give to an independent dealer, installer, or freight carrier, each of which handles your information under its own privacy practices.

Who we are

TruGlide Doors, LLC manufactures and assembles heavy-duty roll-up garage doors in Mount Airy, North Carolina, and ships them across an approximately 800-mile service area. You can read more about our company or see why builders choose TruGlide.

Terms used in this policy

Personal information means information that identifies you or can reasonably be linked to you, such as your name, phone number, email address, or shipping address. Usage data means non-identifying technical information about how a device interacts with our site, such as pages viewed and referring source. When you submit our quote request form, our contact form, or a dealer application, we collect your name, email address, phone number, company name where provided, project location, and the door details you describe — size, quantity, color, opener or chain hoist preference, and timing. If you place an order, we also collect the billing and shipping information needed to fulfill and deliver it.

Information collected automatically

When you browse the site, our analytics tools record usage data such as pages viewed, time on page, approximate region derived from IP address, device and browser type, and the site or ad that referred you. This data helps us understand which pages — for example the size guide or the FAQ — actually answer visitor questions.

Job application information

If you apply through our careers page, we collect your name, email, phone, the position you selected, your message, and any resume link you provide. Applications are emailed to our hiring inboxes and stored in our secure backend so nothing is lost.

Information we do not collect

We do not ask for or knowingly collect Social Security numbers, government ID numbers, health information, or precise GPS location through this website. We do not store full credit card numbers on our site; payment details are handled by our payment processor.

3. How We Use Your Information

Quotes and orders

The main reason we collect your information is to price and build the right door. We use your project details to confirm the opening size, recommend a model, prepare a written quote, and produce your order. See our Shipping & Delivery page for how that information is used at the freight stage.

Service and order messages

We use your phone number and email to send transactional messages: quote follow-ups, order confirmations, production status, freight scheduling, and delivery notices. These messages relate directly to a request you made.

Marketing

With your consent, we may send occasional product announcements, dealer program updates, and promotions. Every marketing email includes an unsubscribe link, and you can opt out of texts at any time by replying STOP.

Improving the site and our products

We review aggregated usage data to improve page content, fix broken paths, and decide what to document next — for example expanding our resources and installation manual or adding detail to our opener information.

Legal and safety uses

Reply STOP to any text message to end texts, click unsubscribe in any marketing email, or tell us directly by phone or email. Opting out of marketing does not stop essential messages about an order already in progress.

5. Cookies, Analytics, and Pixels

Google Analytics via Google Tag Manager

We load Google Analytics 4 through Google Tag Manager to measure page views, traffic sources, and which pages lead to quote requests. Analytics data is aggregated and is not used to identify you personally.

Meta Pixel

The Meta Pixel records events such as page views and completed quote forms so we can measure the performance of our advertising and reach similar audiences. You can limit ad personalization in your Facebook and Instagram ad settings.

Managing cookies

You can accept or decline non-essential cookies through the consent banner shown on your first visit, and you can clear or block cookies at any time in your browser settings. Blocking cookies does not prevent you from browsing the site or submitting a quote request.

Do Not Track

Browsers send Do Not Track signals inconsistently and there is no agreed standard for honoring them, so our site does not respond to them. Use the cookie banner and your browser controls instead.

6. How We Share Information

We do not sell your information

We do not sell, rent, trade, or otherwise disclose your personal information to third parties for their own marketing purposes.

Service providers

We share information with vendors that help us run the business: our website and database host, our email delivery provider, our analytics and advertising platforms, our CRM, our payment processor, and the freight carriers that deliver your door. Each is given only the information it needs and is required to keep it confidential.

Dealers and installers

If your project is served through a dealer or you ask us for an installer referral, we may share your contact details and project scope with that party so they can follow up.

Legal requests and business transfers

We may disclose information when required by law, subpoena, or court order, or to protect the rights, safety, and property of TruGlide Doors, our customers, or the public. If our business is sold or merged, customer records may transfer to the successor under this same policy.

7. How Long We Keep Information

We keep quote requests and order records for up to seven years to support tax records, warranty claims, and returns questions. Job applications are kept for up to two years in case another opening fits. Analytics data is retained according to the default retention settings of the analytics platform. When information is no longer needed, we delete it or keep it only in aggregated, non-identifying form.

8. Data Security

Our site is served over HTTPS, form submissions are transmitted encrypted, and access to stored records is restricted to authorized staff with individual accounts. Database records are protected by row-level access rules so that only authorized accounts can read them.

Limits of security

No method of electronic transmission or storage is completely secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security, and you send information to us at your own risk. Please do not email us sensitive financial or identity documents.

Access, correction, and deletion

Marketing choices

You can unsubscribe from marketing email at any time, reply STOP to end texts, or ask us to stop calling. These choices are honored across all of our lists.

If you live in California, you may request the categories and specific pieces of personal information we collected about you, request deletion, and not be discriminated against for exercising those rights. 10. Children's Privacy
