The 8x7 roll-up door provides an 8-foot wide by 7-foot tall opening — the entry-level standard for single-car residential garages. This size accommodates most sedans, small SUVs, and compact trucks while keeping the door footprint manageable.
The 7-foot height is sufficient for standard passenger vehicles but may be tight for taller trucks and SUVs. If you need additional clearance for taller vehicles, consider the 8x8 or 9x8 sizes.

The 8x7 door uses a 9.5-inch drum and is compatible with the EasyRoller 14 electric opener. The EasyRoller 14 is designed for doors 12 feet wide and smaller with 9.5-inch drums.
Motor Installation
Electric motors are typically installed on the right-hand side when standing inside the building looking outward. Installing on the opposite side can cause reverse operation and installer issues.

The side brush seal holder is extruded at a 45-degree angle to keep the door sealed tightly and reduce air intrusion.
