What Is a 6x7 Roll-Up Door?
The 6x7 roll-up door provides a 6-foot wide by 7-foot tall opening — giving an extra foot of height compared to the 6x6 for improved walk-through clearance and easier movement of taller equipment through the opening.
This size is well suited for small equipment sheds, light utility buildings, and storage applications where the taller opening makes loading and unloading more practical. The 7-foot height allows most adults to walk through comfortably without ducking.
Like all TruGlide doors, the 6x7 is constructed with a minimum .016" steel (27 gauge) curtain and 18 gauge galvanized tracks. The compact coiling design keeps overhead space clear inside the building.
Important Fitment Note
Doors smaller than 8 feet wide are generally not suitable for parking standard passenger vehicles or trucks. These sizes are typically better suited for self-storage, utility sheds, equipment rooms, and small access openings.

Roll-up doors require unobstructed space above the opening for the coil assembly.
The 6x7 door requires approximately 18 inches of headroom above the opening.
Side Room Requirements
Roll-up doors require side clearance on both sides of the opening for guide installation.
The 6x7 door requires 8 inches each side.

Compatible Opener: EasyRoller 14
The 6x7 door uses a 9.5-inch drum and is compatible with the EasyRoller 14 electric opener. The EasyRoller 14 is designed for doors 12 feet wide and smaller with 9.5-inch drums.
Motor Installation
Electric motors are typically installed on the right-hand side when standing inside the building looking outward. Installing on the opposite side can cause reverse operation and installer issues.

Chain Hoist Operator
A chain hoist operator can be added to smaller doors upon request. Adding a chain hoist removes exterior latches and changes the door to internal kick latches.
Insulated Door Option
Available with 2 mm foam insulation double-side taped to the door curtain, providing an approximate R-value of 1. Insulated doors include a header seal and side brush seals.
The side brush seal holder is extruded at a 45-degree angle to keep the door sealed tightly and reduce air intrusion.
