Our Story
TruGlide Doors LLC was founded with a clear purpose: to build roll-up garage doors that contractors and builders can depend on. Based in Mount Airy, North Carolina, our manufacturing facility assembles every door that leaves our shop — from the steel curtain slats to the torsion springs and hardware.
We started by serving local metal building manufacturers and carport companies in the Piedmont region of North Carolina. Word spread through the builder community, and our customer base grew across the Southeastern United States. Today we supply roll-up doors to metal building manufacturers, self-storage developers, shed builders, garage door installers, and property owners across a 9-state service area.
Our growth has always been driven by repeat business. When a contractor orders 50 doors and comes back for 200 more, that tells us more than any marketing campaign ever could. We've built TruGlide on the principle that consistent quality and honest service create long-term partnerships.

Our Product Line
TruGlide manufactures two primary door models: Model 171 featuring an integrated nylon sound-dampening system for quieter operation, and Model 180 with enhanced bottom seal performance for better weather protection.
Both models are available in sizes from 3 feet to 16 feet wide and 7 feet to 16 feet tall, with 7 standard colors: White, Black, Earth Brown, Evergreen, Barn Red, Quaker Gray, and Pewter Gray. Electric openers, chain hoist operators, insulation, and sealing systems are available as add-on options.
