The 12x14 roll-up door provides a 12-foot wide by 14-foot tall opening — combining the popular 12-foot width with an impressive 14-foot height. This tall-format door is designed for applications where standard height doors fall short: tall farm equipment, RVs, box trucks, and industrial machinery.
The 14-foot height is increasingly requested by metal building contractors who build for clients with oversized equipment. This door accommodates most RVs, tall tractors with cabs, and specialized industrial loads that need maximum vertical clearance.
Because this door exceeds 10 feet in height on a 12-foot wide frame, it comes standard with a chain hoist operator. TruGlide 12x14 doors use a minimum .016" steel (27 gauge) curtain, 18 gauge galvanized tracks, and a 9.5-inch drum compatible with the EasyRoller 14 electric opener.

Compatible Opener: EasyRoller 14
The 12x14 door uses a 9.5-inch drum and is compatible with the EasyRoller 14 electric opener. The EasyRoller 14 is designed for doors 12 feet wide and smaller with 9.5-inch drums.
Motor Installation
Electric motors are typically installed on the right-hand side when standing inside the building looking outward. Installing on the opposite side can cause reverse operation and installer issues.
Chain Hoist Operator
The 12x14 door comes standard with a chain hoist operator. Chain hoists are included on 12-foot wide doors taller than 10 feet.
When both a chain hoist and electric motor are installed, the motor is placed on the right side and the chain on the left side. If only the chain hoist is used (without an electric motor), the chain is placed on the right side.

This door uses internal kick latches on both sides. Kick latches lock into notches cut into the bottom of the guide rails. Exterior latches are not used on doors equipped with a chain hoist operator.
